In 2009 I sold, for my parents, the Sherborn home in which they had lived for thirty-five years. The sale was complicated by a complex system of state and local water treatment regulations, unanticipated legal and banking issues, and particular buyer demands and anxiety. I would like to thank you for everything you have done for us on our new house. Some people thought we were crazy to try and sell our house and take the step to a bigger house. When I tell people we sold our house in three weeks they are amazed.
The major thing I liked when we were selling you worked with us on setting the price. You did not just let us set the price and then we would be forced to drop it down every few weeks until it sold. You did your homework and listened to us for what we needed and we all agreed on the price. Two open houses and it was sold! We spoke to a couple of other realtor's and this is not common practice.
Surprisingly finding a new house was the hard task but again you stayed with us every step of the way. You listened to what we wanted and needed and showed us the right properties. You did not try and force houses or areas we did not want. Even when we would feel desperate and started to think we would need to settle (that house with the tub in the bedroom) you were upbeat and kept us looking for the right house.
Your experience, guidance, referrals and attitude helped us get our dream house. I truly believe this is the house we will raise our kids until they leave for college.
And last but definitely not least we all became friends. The kids still ask about Mr. Anderson.
